Volley Cats Hold a Special Night for Huntingdon Middle School

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – As a part of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative, the Bethel Lady Wildcat Volleyball program conducted a special event Wednesday night in Crisp Arena.

Twenty-eight players from the Huntingdon Middle School team were guests of the Volley Cats. Bethel players taught ball control, serving, setting, passing, and hitting.

Coach Starla Cupples commented on the event. "It was a great experience for all as our players got to share their knowledge and love for the game with the next generation. I'm impressed with how hard they worked and their desire to learn. We also might have met some future Wildcats."

Bethel University has been named a Gold Champions of Character school for eight consecutive years.
