Mid-South Conference Women’s Volleyball Tournament Bracket Released

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville (Ky.) is the top seed in the 2023 Mid-South Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament, conference officials announced Saturday with the release of the tournament bracket.

The three-day tournament begins on Thursday, Nov. 9 at Bowling Green High School and concludes with the championship match on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Campbellsville earned the No. 1 seed going 18-10 overall and 11-1 in the MSC. The Tigers earn a bye into the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. CT.

Tournament action gets underway on Thursday with fourth-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (17-14, 7-5 MSC) taking on No. 5 seed Bethel (Tenn.) (11-15, 4-8 MSC) at Noon CT. The Blue Raiders split the regular season series with the Wildcats. Campbellsville awaits the winners in the semifinals on Friday.

No. 2 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) (21-10, 9-3 MSC) face seventh-seeded Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) (13-15, 0-12 MSC) at 3 p.m. CT. The Patriots swept the Lions in both matchups during the regular season.

The first round concludes on Thursday with No. 3 Cumberland (Tenn.) (19-17, 8-4 MSC) facing sixth-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) 10-23, 3-9 MSC). The Phoenix swept the regular season series against the Tigers.

The Cumberlands/Freed-Hardeman winner will face the Cumberland/Georgetown winner in the semifinals at 6 p.m. CT. Saturday's championship match is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT.
