Volley Cats Lose in Five Sets at Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky. –The Bethel Lady Wildcats battled to the very end at Georgetown Friday night but lost 3-2 in five sets to the Tigers.

Bethel lost 21-25, 25-18, 20-25, 26-24, 8-15.

Bethel's Dominika Skoneczna had 17 kills and 11 digs. Sami Parker had 22 digs. Madelyn Woods followed with 10 digs. Setareh Valibeygi had 39 assists.

Bethel dropped to 7-9 overall and 2-3 in the MSC.

Georgetown won their second in a row and improved to 8-15 and 2-4.

The Wildcats are back in action Saturday at the University of the Cumberlands in another MSC match. Action begins in Williamsburg at 1 p.m. CT.
