Volley Cats Head to the Commonwealth for Two Weekend Matches

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats travel to Kentucky this weekend for two key conference matches.

Bethel has won two of their last three and are 7-8 overall. The Cats are 2-2 in the MSC. Action begins at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Georgetown has lost five in a row ( 6-15, 0-4) entering their Thursday night match against visiting Freed-Hardeman.

 Dominika Skoneczna, the current MSC Attacker of the Week leads Bethel in kills (124) and digs (123). Gabriela Dominguez has 96 kills. Alexa McLaren has 86 kills. McLaren also leads the team with 31 blocks. Sami Parker is second in digs with 120. Madelyn Woods has 95 digs. Setareh Valibeygi leads the squad with 320 assists.

After the Georgetown match, the Lady Cats will travel to the Southeast portion of the Commonwealth visiting the University of the Cumberlands Saturday in Williamsburg.

The Patriots enter the weekend with a Friday night match hosting FHU. UC has a record of 14-8 and 3-1.
