Volleyball Sweeps Bearcats in Owensboro
OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Volley Cats won their second match of the season Thursday night. The Cats swept the Brescia Bearcats in Owensboro, 25-12, 25-19 and 25-12.
With the victory, Bethel moved to 2- 3 while Brescia dropped to 0-1.
Bethel was led by Dominika Skoneczna with 10 kills and eight digs. Nuria Clavo has nine kills and six digs. Setareh Valibeugi finished with 27 assists and six digs.
Sami Parker contributed with 15 digs. Madelyn Woods had seven digs.
Bethel returns to action September 8th at the Rhodes Classic playing Austin College and Lyon College. The Cats will face Mary Hardin and Rhodes on the 9th.
