Volleyball Splits in Home Openers in Tri-Match
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats opened the home portion of their 2023 schedule Tuesday in a tri-match hosting Philander Smith and Blue Mountain Christian.
The Lady Cats outscored the Philander Smith Panthers 13-2 to pull away to win the first set (25-14) of the first match of the day. The Lady Cats took set two, winning 25-18. The Cats mounted a dramatic comeback to take the third set 26-24. Bethel trailed 24-19 and scored seven unanswered points to win.
