Mid-South Conference Announces 2023 Women’s Volleyball Watch List
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The 2023 Women's Volleyball Watch List has been released, conference officials announced on Thursday.
Conference coaches each submitted three student-athletes whom they anticipate will have a significant impact on their team this upcoming season.
The watch list features five First Team All-MSC members, three second team members and two NAIA All-American honorable mentions from last season. Campbellsville's (Ky.) Cierra Merrick and Molly Shannon, Cumberland's (Tenn.) Hazel Konkel , Cumberlands' (Ky.) Juiliet Banks and Allyson Grava were all first team selections last season. Cumberlands' Kendall Arnold, Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Madison Bidwell and Alix Stoermer earned second team honors.
Banks, Konkel and Shannon all earned individual conference honors in 2022. Banks was the Defensive Player of the Year, Konkel earned Freshman of the Year honors and Shannon was the Player of the Year.
