BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The No. 25th ranked and second seeded Bethel Wildcat women's tennis season continues to set new program marks with their 4-3 win over   No. 23 and the third seeded Cumberlands Patriots Friday afternoon in the Mid-South Conference Championship Semifinals in Bowling Green.

The Lady Cats will meet the No. 1 seeded and 11th ranked Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson Saturday at noon for the MSC title.

This appearance in the finals is the first for the program in recent history.

Coach Derrick Hubble expressed his emotions after the match. "At this very moment I am at a loss for words. I'm so proud of each of these young ladies as they fought to the very end.   Martina Coghetto is our MVP of the day as she won the final match for us to prevail and move to the finals. I would like to thank our university for entrusting me to coach these fine young people. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to represent our school and to lead these young women. Thanks to all who support me and our program. We look forward to playing in the finals tomorrow."
