Lady Cats Fall at Cumberland University

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Bethel (RV) Women's Soccer team traveled to Lebanon Wednesday to battle the 17th ranked Cumberland University Phoenix.

Cumberland scored single goals in the first and second periods and won 2-nil.

The Lady Cats dropped to 7-5-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the MSC.   

Cumberland improved to 11-4 -0 and 3-2-0.

The Phoenix had a 12-11 advantage in shots and a 5-4 margin in shots on goal. 

Alicia Perez recorded three saves for the Lady Cats.

 It was the 18th meeting between the two with Cumberland holding a 9-7-2 advantage in the series.

CU is 9-0-2 in the last eleven meetings in the series.

Bethel returns to action Wednesday, October 30 at Campbellsville with play beginning at 5 p.m. CT.
