Nine Lady Wildcats Named as Daktronics NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athletes

 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes on Friday. Marian (Ind.) led the way with 23 honorees. Grand View (Iowa) finished a close second with 22.

The 2023 list features 1,443 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

Nine Lady Wildcats excelled on and off the pitch.  Ainhoa Chirivella, Alicia Perez, Anna-McCall Johnson, Cassidy Kerksener, Elizabeth Carson, Haiden Glidwell, Hailey Hibbeler, Hilda Moyo and Olivia Kavanagh-Spall  earned all-scholar status.
