Women’s Soccer Travels to Southeastern for NAIA National Championships

LAKELAND, Fla. - The Bethel Lady Wildcats will travel to Lakeland, Florida to face Southeastern University Saturday in the second round of the NAIA National Championships. The time for the match is 11 a.m. CT.

How they got here:

Both squads received at-large bids. No. 25 Bethel is 11-3-2 while the Fire enters the tournament at 11-5-2. Until their loss to Cumberland University in the MSC semifinals, The Lady Cats had not lost since September 29. They were 6-0-2 during that stretch.

The winner will advance to Foley, Ala., to the NAIA National Championship final site event. The final site takes place at the Foley Sports Tourism Championship Stadium from November 27 – December 4, 2023, hosted by Gulf Shores/Orange Beach Sports & Events.

All championship first and second round matches will be video streamed by the host.

The NAIA Network – the association's official video streaming home – will broadcast 14 matches live at the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship final site in Foley, Ala., and the championship match will be on ESPN3. Audrey La Rue led Bethel with 10 goals and six assists. Kalina Stanisic had eight goals and five assists. Ainhoa Chirivella had five goals. Alicia Perez had 48 saves giving her 123 career stops.
