Women’s Soccer Continues Postseason Wednesday

Williamsburg, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats had no trouble with the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions Saturday in the quarterfinals, winning 10-0 to advance to the semifinals of the Mid-South Conference Championships. The finals are being played in Williamsburg, Kentucky at the University of the Cumberlands.

Seven different Wildcats scored goals. Kalina Stanisic had the hat trick while Audrey LaRue had two goals. Carla Cebollada had three assists.

 Bethel (11-2-2) and will face No. 3 seed Cumberland University (12-1-3) at 6 p.m. CT Wednesday night in Williamsburg. Cumberland beat Georgetown in the quarterfinals.

Cumberlands (Ky.) (12-0-3) is the top seed in the tournament. The Pats will meet No. 4 seed Campbellsville (7-6-3) in the other semi-final matchup at 3:30 CT Wednesday.

The tournament final is scheduled for Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. CT.
