Mid-South Conference Announces 2023 Women's Soccer Awards

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -  The 2023 Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer season awards have been released, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Campbellsville's Angeline Kieh was named the MSC Player of the Year while Cumberland's Grace Morris earned MSC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Cumberlands' Nicole Araujo was voted the MSC Freshman of the Year. Cumberlands' Steve Hamilton was voted the MSC Coach of the Year. Bethel's Armando Guell was voted the MSC Assistant Coach of the Year.

Conference coaches vote on the seasonal awards along with the all-conference teams. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Guell helped lead the Wildcats to an 11-2-2 record and a 4-1-1 record in the MSC which earned them the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

11 players earned first team honors with 11 student-athletes earning a spot on to the second team.
