Lady Cats Close Out Regular Season with Tie at Freed-Hardeman

HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats closed out their regular season with a 1-1 tie at Freed-Hardeman Tuesday night.

The Cat outshot the Lions 18-9 and had a 11-5 margin in shots on goal but in the end, had to settle for the tie.

After FHU took a 1-nil lead at the 59:40 mark, the Cats got the equalizer from Nathalie Rojas at the 77:54 mark.

Bethel finished the regular season at 6-6-4 and 2-5-3.

FHU snapped an eight game losing streak and will enter the postseason at 5-10-2 and 1-8-1.

Bethel (7th seed) will play November 1 in the 1^st round of the MSC Tournament. The Lady Cats will host FHU (10th seed) at 3 p.m. Watch for a preview of the match later at www.bethelatletics.com
