Women’s Soccer Ties No. 4 University of the Cumberlands

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The (RV) Bethel Lady Wildcats had No. 4 the University of Cumberlands on the ropes Saturday night at Wildcat Stadium, but the   Patriots scored with three minutes left to tie the game and salvaged the 1-1 tie.

Ainhoa Chirivella scored Bethel's lone goal in the first period. Elle Carson had the assist.

Carola Fontan scored the equalizer for the Patriots.

UC outshot Bethel 14-7 and had a 9-4 margin in shots on goal. 

Bethel finished the night 5-1-2 and 1-0-1. Cumberlands is 6-0-3 and 1-0-1.

The Cats are back in action Wednesday hosting UT Southern at 5 p.m.
