Lady Cats Beat LSU-Alexandria on Labor Day
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats played host to LSU-Alexandria on Labor Day.
Despite having a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal, the Cats found themselves deadlocked in a scoreless tie at the break.
That changed at the 41:35 mark of the second period when Nathalie Rojas scored on an assist from Ainhoa Chirivella. It would be the only score of the match with Bethel winning 1-0.
Bethel had a 13-7 margin in shots and a 9-3 advantage in shots and goal.
Bethel moved to 4-0 on the year. It is the best start for the Lady Cats since 2017 when they were 7-0. The Generals dropped to 1-1 on the year.
Bethel took a 4-1 advantage in the series.
Bethel returns to action Saturday at No. 2 William Carey. Action begins at 5 p.m.
