Bethel’s Coach Chris Nelson Participates at National Convention

CLEVELAND, OH- Bethel University Women's Basketball Coach Chris Nelson attended the Final Four of the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four in Cleveland this past weekend.

Nelson was one of the WCBA coaches who were invited to stop by the Wilson Basketball display for a Title IX setup.

Coach Nelson commented " It is an honor to represent WBB, Bethel, and the NAIA on a national stage. It is even more of an honor to speak on Title and the growth of Women's Basketball especially being from West Tennessee and having the likes of Coach Pat Summit and Coach Lin Dunn being the original trailblazers that help lay the foundation for where all women's sports are today."

Coach Nelson is in his sixth year on the board of directors for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
