Lady Wildcats Fall on Senior Night

MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Bethel Lady Wildcats played host to Lindsey Wilson on Thursday looking for their first conference win of the season.

It was Senior Night with ceremonies taking place before tip-off.

Seniors Alyia Lee, Anaya Patterson, Kayla Gilmore, Olivia Rinehart and NeNe Adams were saluted and honored.

LWC jumped out to a 19-10 lead after one quarter. The Lady Raiders upped the margin to 37-21 at the half. Lindsey Wilson maintained their sterling play outscoring Bethel 22-13 in the third quarter to lead 59-34 after three quarters.

 LWC moved to 17-10 overall and 5-6 in the MSC with an 82-50 win.

Bethel fell to 13-14 and 0-11 in the league.

The Cats dropped to 166-38 all-time in Crisp.

Bethel shot 37 percent from the floor and was 4-of-19 in three-point attempts.

Lindsey Wilson shot 55 percent from the field and hit 8-of-18 three- point attempts.

Bethel committed 20 turnovers. LWC had a 27-7 advantage in points off turnovers.

Madison Hart led the Lady Wildcats with 17 points.

Taylor Guess led LWC with 19 points.   Four other Raiders finished in double figures, 

The Lady Wildcats close out their regular season Saturday at the University of the Cumberlands. Tip-off is scheduled for noon CT.

UC leads the all-time series 6-0.
