Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Academic All-Conference Announced

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A total of 94 Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball student-athletes have earned Academic All-Conference honors, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Six Bethel University Lady Wildcats earned honors.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.

Campbellsville (Ky.) and Pikeville (Ky.) each had 13 student-athletes earn the honors. Cumberland (Tenn.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) had 11 honorees apiece while Thomas More (Ky.) had 10.

The Conference Women's Basketball Champions of Character Team was also released, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

Bethel's  Carolyn White was honored with the award.
