
Lady Wildcats Meet Tennessee Tech Tuesday in Exhibition Play
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcat basketball squad plays their lone exhibition game of the season Tuesday when they travel to Cookeville to meet Tennessee Tech at 6 p.m.
Bethel is 3-1 on the season. It will be Tennessee Tech's first game of the year. The Golden Eagles beat CBU 88-56 in exhibition play last week.
The Cats are averaging 68.5 points and giving up 52.0 points per outing. The Wildcats own victories over UHSP (70-56), John Brown (64-55), and Brescia (84-38). Their one loss was to Talladega who edged Bethel 59-56.
Ryann Roberts leads Bethel in scoring, averaging 13.8 points per game. Newcomer, Keely Morrow follows at 11.5. Millie Bryant pops in 12.0 points along with her team leading 6.5 rebounds per game. Senior Mickey Head averages 9.5 points and grabs five rebounds per outing.
The Golden Eagles were picked second in the OVC's preseason poll, their highest projection since being selected to win the OVC East Division in 2013-14. That season, Tech had 12 first-place votes and 119 total points.
