Hannagan was previously the head coach at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2022 she coached the Pack back to new heights. The Wolves finished with an overall record of 30-13, their best finish since 2016. Stritch finished with a CCAC record of 13-9, enough for a 5-seed in the CCAC Tournament. The Wolves went 2-2 in the Tournament, including an extra innings victory over SAU and a 0-1 loss to ONU in their final game. In her first season, the Wolves had a record of 18-20 and advanced into the CCAC Tournament. Her second season was cute short after the Tucson Invitational due to COVID-19. In 2021, Hannagan coached the Pack to an 18-17 overall record and a 9-13 CCAC record. The Wolves returned to the CCAC Conference Tournament, going 1-2. Hannigan was 72-53 with the Wolves. Prior to Stritch, Hannagan was head coach of Finlandia University’s softball program and led them to an overall record of 51-44. In 2017, Hannagan coached the Lions in a 25-13 season and the team won the American Collegiate Athletic Association Championship. Hannagan was named the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) Coach of the Year. In the 2018 season, Hannagan led the Lions to a 21-12 season, and they won the ACAA Conference championship for the second season in a row. That season, Hannagan was AD3I Coach of the Year for the second season in a row. In 2017 and 2018 seasons, Hannagan’s teams had 12 All-AD3I selections and 2 All-Americans. Before coaching at Finlandia, Hannagan was the assistant coach for three seasons at St. Francis (Ill.) for three seasons, during which the Fighting Saints made it to the NAIA World Series in 2015. As a native of Monee, Ill., Hannagan had an impressive collegiate career at Olivet Nazarene University where she helped the softball program to a record of 190-58 as well as three Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships and three NAIA World Series. Hannagan had a record of 86- 26 and pitched 84 complete games, tallying 288 strikeouts and holding a 2.22 ERA in 718.7 innings. She was awarded the CCAC MVP, CCAC Pitcher of the Year, NFCA All-Great Lakes Region, and NAIA and NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete twice, as well as being named an NCCAA All-American. Hannagan holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Olivet Nazarene University and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Training and Development from the University of St. Francis (Ill.).
