Softball Signs Jackson State Standout

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel University softball program signed Jackson State Community College standout Emma Mckenzie recently.

Emma is the daughter of Shane Mckenzie and Jessica Compton and will major in Education. The Cotton Valley, Louisiana native will major in Education.

Mckenzie was an all-district catcher each year in high school. Emma was named District MVP several times during her prep career.

Emma feels her best strengths are her energy and passion for the game.

Interim Athletic Director Dave McCulley commented. "Emma had a great prep career followed by two great seasons at JSCC. I know our coaching staff will look forward to working with her and all of our Lady Wildcats."
