Softball Loses Doubleheader at FHU
HENDERSON, Tenn. - Bethel traveled to Freed-Hardeman Friday to begin a four-game weekend MSC series against the Lions. The cool and damp weather saw the Wildcat bats go cold in both games.
The Lady Cats dropped both games of their doubleheader Friday losing 7-0 and 3-0.
Bethel managed only three hits in game one while FHU scored in four different innings and finished with 11 hits. Lauren Reimsnyder suffered the loss while Chloe Winters picked up the Lion win.
The Cats managed just two hits in game two. Kinsley Caruthers suffered the hard luck loss. Kylee Brown picked up the Lion win.
Bethel dropped to 12-24 overall and 3-15 in the league.
Freed Hardeman (RV) is 23-15 and 12-8. The Lady Lions snapped a four-game losing streak with the victories.
The teams play a twin bill in Henderson on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
