Bethel Men’s Indoor Track Historical Season Ends

NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships

BROOKINGS, S.D. - The Bethel University Men's Track team ended one of the best indoor track performances in Bethel history. The Distance-Medley relay who won the Mid-South Conference Championship, ended up 22nd in the nation. All-American Joseph Skoog continued his historic run after finishing runner-up in the 3000m and then bouncing back in the 5000m to finish third. Skoog was coming off a Mid-South Conference Championship. The ceiling is high for Bethel's Track team as they now prepare to be ready for outdoor competition.

Head Coach Brandon Kilburn had the following comment, "First, I want to thank God for this opportunity, and I also want to thank Bethel University for allowing us this chance to compete. I want to take the time to let both of my teams know how proud I am of their seasons. We are looking forward to outdoor and I have a great group of individuals. Overall, we finished top 25 in the nation and came home with an All-American. I am happy with our performance. It is now time to get ready for outdoor competition. "

After this season, this makes 19 total conference championships for Kilburn with team championships in the Transouth Conference, Southern States Conference and the Mid-South Conference.
