-Brookings, SD

NAIA National Championships Men's DMR

The Bethel Men's DMR team finishes out the first day of nationals finishing twenty-second in the nation with a time of 10:56.54. The team consisted of Stetson Childress, Ariel Devoto, San'Darius Coleman, and Owen Crocker.

Head Coach Brandon Kilburn said the following, "I am extremely proud of my guys overall. They finished ranked 22nd in the nation, which is the best ever finish for any DMR team in Bethel history. We will continue to move forward and prepare for outdoor. Joseph ran exceptional today. The strategy was to run just fast enough to be able to be in the the finals for the 5k. He executed the plan perfectly. Tomorrow he will try to do the same in the 3000m run. We are taking it day by day. We are extremely blessed for this opportunity."
