Derrick Hubble enters his seventh season as head men's and women's tennis coach at Bethel in 2024-25.

In Coach Hubble's first three seasons, both teams improved their records from the previous years.

The women's team won the Bethel NAIA Team Academic Award in 2019 and 2020.

In 2020, the Wildcats' 6-2 record was the best start by a men's squad in ten years at the school. The season was shortened due to COVID.

The 2024 women's team went 14-4, finished runner-up in the Mid-South Conference tournament and was ranked 23rd in the final NAIA Top 25 poll that year. As a result, Hubble was named as the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year for women's tennis.

Prior to becoming the head coach of both tennis squads, Hubble served as an assistant in the sports information department at Bethel. He was also a graduate assistant with the women’s basketball program.

Hubble graduated from Bethel in 2013 with his bachelor's degree in physical education and completed a master's degree in education in 2018.
