Derrick Hubble enters his fifth season as Men's and Women's Head Tennis Coach at Bethel University in 2023-24. In his first three seasons both teams improved their records from the previous years.

The Bethel Women’s Team won the Bethel University NAIA Team Academic Award in 2019 and 2020.

The Wildcats 6-2 record was the best start by a men's squad in the last ten years at the school. The season was shortened due to COVID-19.

Prior to becoming the head coach of both tennis squads, Hubble served as an assistant in the Sports Information department at the school. He also was a graduate assistant with the women’s basketball program.

Graduating from Bethel University in 2013 with his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Hubble started on his Master’s Degree in the fall of 2015 and finished in the spring of 2018 with his degree in Education.
