Wildcat Men's Tennis to Face Campbellsville in Opening Round
Mid-South Conference Releases Men's Tennis Tournament Bracket
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Mid-South Conference officials released the MSC Men's Tennis Tournament bracket on Tuesday.
The tournament is slated to begin with three quarterfinal matches on Thursday at 10 a.m. CT, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. CT at Michael O. Buchanon Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Friday's Semifinals take place at 3 p.m. CT and 6 p.m. Saturday's championship match is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT.
Cumberlands enters the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed after winning the MSC regular season championship. The Patriots (16-5, 6-0 MSC) are set to face the winner of No. 4-seeded Campbellsville (Ky.) (8-10, 3-3 MSC) and No. 5 seed Bethel (Tenn.) (8-8, 2-4 MSC).
No. 2 seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (13-4, 5-1 MSC) faces No. 7 seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) (4-14, 0-6 MSC) in the second quarterfinal matchup.
The quarterfinals wrap up on Thursday with No. 3 seed Cumberland (Tenn.) (9-10-1, 4-2 MSC) taking on No. 6 seed Georgetown (6-13, 1-5 MSC).
