Men’s Tennis Signs Andrej Jovanovic

MCKENZIE, Tenn. -Bethel Coach Derrick Hubble announced Tuesday the signing of Andrej Jovanovic of Brisbane, Australia. Andrej is the son of Borko and Sandra Bukumirovic   Jovanovic and will major in Business Administration.

Jovanovic attended William Woods University and will enroll this fall as a junior.

Andrej was a member of the Corinda State High School team in Brisbane. He was awarded the    Excellence Award in Economics and English.

Jovanovic was the Queensland State Champion and won the Tennis Australia Blue Award.

Andrej feels his biggest strengths are his tenacity, his unique serve, and his aggressiveness.

Coach Hubble stated, "We are extremely pleased to sign Andrej. He fights for every point and has a lot of passion. We feel he will be a great addition to our squad."
