An emotional Coach Derrick Hubble commented, "I'm at a loss for words as for many of these youngsters it's the end of their tennis careers. Over the years they have grown into great young people who have bright futures. The future of Bethel Tennis is bright as well. Over the next few weeks, we will sign new pieces to the puzzle along with the pieces that are coming back. We will find a way to succeed not only on the court but in the classroom as well."

Hubble added, "A coach once told me to take the athletes you have and mold the future of our world, this group has meant the world to me. They will forever hold a part of my heart, but just know we will be back to Bowling Green. To the fans who have supported from near and far, for their young students, thanks so much for the opportunity you gave me with each of your children. To the Bethel family, thank you for the support you have shown me as a young coach."
