Netters Sign Brazilian Star

CAMPINAS SAO PAULO, Brazil – The Bethel Men's Tennis program recently signed Eduardo de Moraes Torquato of Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Eduardo is the son of Antonio Machado Torquato and Cristina Vincente de Moraes and will major in Business.

Eduardo has played tennis since he was 13 years old. He has played in regional (state of Sao Paulo) national and UTR tournaments in Brazil. He played his prep career at Sagrado Coracao de Jesus.

Eduardo feels his biggest strengths are his work ethic and his competitiveness.

Coach Derrick Hubble was pleased with the signing. "We are incredibly happy to sign Eduardo. He has a great passion for the sport and is willing to work hard to improve. We look forward to him being a Wildcat and are excited about working with him."
