Men’s Soccer Continues Surge in Signings

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – It has been an eventful week for the Bethel University Men's Soccer program. The Wildcats signed another player from England Thursday. Findlay Green from Haslemere UK is the latest to commit to the Cats.

Green is the son of Daniel and Lara Green and will major in Human Performance-Sports Management.

Findlay is a product of Godalming College UK. He has played for several academies with the most recent Liss Academy FC/ Premiere Division Hampshire. He scored four goals in the last game of the year and helped Liss win the title.

Green was named Sports Person of the Year and won the Goden Boot Award and the Football (Soccer) Player of the Year Award.

Findlay feels his biggest strengths are his anticipation skills and his ability to read the pit.

Bethel Assistant Coach Sheldon Spelman stated, "Fin understands the game very well and is a very creative player. He also ticks all the boxes for what we look for in a student-athlete. He no doubt will be a great addition to this recruiting class."
