
Mid-South Conference Announces 2022 Men’s Soccer Awards
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The 2022 Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer season awards have been released, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
Cumberlands' (Ky.) Pablo Vazquez was named the MSC Player of the Year while Tennessee Southern's Carlos Galan earned MSC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Lindsey Wilson's Sadam Masereka was voted the MSC Freshman of the Year. Tennessee Southern's Brian Davies was named the MSC Coach of the Year while Taylor Jones was voted the MSC Assistant Coach of the Year.
Bethel's Nathan Hunter and Adrian Musubi were named to the 1st team. Norberto Lima Vieria, Sergio Baguena and Isaac Stanley were second team selections. Jermaine Murhead and Mountaga Sall were named to the Honorable Mention team.
Conference coaches vote on the seasonal awards along with the all-conference teams. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
17 players earned first team honors with 14 student-athletes earning a spot on to the second team. 10 student-athletes earned Honorable Mention status in addition to the first and second team honorees.
