Men’s Soccer Gets Road Win at Lindsey Wilson
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The (RV) Bethel Wildcats edged the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders 2-1 Wednesday night in Columbia.
The Cats took an early lead on a goal by Adrian Musubi and led 1-0 after the first period. Musubi would score again in the second period to give Bethel a 2-0 margin. Gregory Cousins had the assist on the second goal.
The Blue Raiders scored at the 55:22 mark but the Wildcats held on to move their record to 10-2-2 overall and 6-2 in the MSC. It was Bethel's fourth straight win.
LWC dropped to 5-6-3 and 4-3-1.
Bethel outshot the Blue Raiders 11-10. The Cats had an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
The Wildcats travel to Campbellsville Friday for another MSC showdown. Action begins at 7:30 CST.
