Wildcats Fall to FireHawks
PULASKI, Tenn. –The Bethel men' soccer team and the UT Southern FireHawks met on the pitch in Pulaski Saturday. UTS won the match 1-0.
The squads battled to a scoreless first period.
Tennessee Southern took the lead with 22 minutes left in the second on a goal by Pietari Vanska. The assist was credited to Mario Lopez. It would be the only score of the match. It was the first time Bethel has lost to the Hawks since 2017.
Bethel dropped to 7-3-1 overall and 2-2 in the MSC. UTS improved to 5-5 and 2-2.
The Wildcats return to action Thursday hosting Life University at 7 p.m.
