No. 14 Wildcats Outlast John Brown

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – After suffering their first setback of the 2021 campaign the No. 14 Bethel Wildcats attempted to bounce back against John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas Saturday. The Cats did just that with a 2-1 hard fought victory. Bethel improved to 5-1 while JBU dropped their fourth straight and fell to 2-4.

The only score of the first period was by JBU's Kolby McCombs.

The Wildcats came back with two second period scores by Mountaga SallAlioune Diop  had the assist on the first goal.  The second goal came at the 82:27 mark. Antoine Ferez had the assist on the tiebreaker.

The Wildcats return to action hosting Williams Baptist at 7 p.m. Monday night in Wildcat Stadium.

Tickets are not required for the match.

It is suggested fans wear a mask and practice social distancing outside their family group. These suggestions are for the safety of each and to assure our student-athletes can complete their seasons in a healthy environment.
