No. 19 Soccer Cats Keep Win Streak Alive

MCKENZIE, Tenn. –The No. 19 Bethel Wildcats remained undefeated on the season with a dominating 5 -0 win over the Pikeville Bears Sunday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium. Bethel moved to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in MSC action on the year. UPIKE fell to 2-6-1 and 0-6-1.

First period goals by Rodrigo Atilano, Pascal Mohungsi and Don Obare gave Bethel a 3-0 lead at the break. Damani Haris, Brian Mbauni and Mohungsi were credited with assists.

Mbauni and Orlando Soto scored second period goals in the win. Obare had an assist in the period.

Bethel had a 20-1 advantage in shots and an 11-0 margin in shots on goal.

The Wildcats remain at home hosting Shawnee State Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
