Soccer Cats Remain Unbeaten with Win at Campbellsville

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The No. 23 Bethel Wildcats remained unbeaten with a 2-1 win at (RV) Campbellsville Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats improved their record to 5-0 and 4-0 in the MSC. The Tigers fell to 8-3-2 and 3-2-2.

Alphonso Gooden scored Bethel's goals in the first period. The Tigers scored a single goal in the second but the Wildcats hung on to win their fourth road game of the season.

CU had a 12-10 advantage in shots. Both squads had three shots on goal. Bethel's Norberto Lima Vieira had two saves.

Bethel travels to Lindsey Wilson Tuesday to meet the No. 7 Blue Raiders. Action begins at 5 p.m.
