Cats Host LWC on Senior Night Thursday in Crisp Arena

MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Bethel Wildcats look to win their third straight hosting Lindsey Wilson Thursday at 7:30 p.m. It will be Senior night with ceremonies taking place before the tip-off.

The Wildcats are 14-12 overall and 3-7 in the MSC. Bethel us 8-6 at home on the year and 127-54 all-time in Crisp which opened in 2012.

The Blue Raiders are 14-11 and 5-5 in the league. Lindsey Wilson has dropped three of their five road games this year.

Bethel beat the Raiders 65-61 in Columbia on January 20. The Wildcats used a strong second half, outscoring the Blue Raiders 35-29 to win by four.

Bethel trailed 32-30 at the half but balanced scoring and a strong defensive effort allowed the Cats to win.

The Cats shot 41 percent and hit 16-of-23 free throw attempts. Bethel had a 41-37 rebound margin. Both squads committed 18 turnovers in the game. 

LWC shot 35 percent and was 15-of-21 from the charity stripe.

Connor Guthrie and Querrion Gadson led Bethel with 11 points each. Tyler Neely and Kendan Maddox each scored 10 points. Brennon Marsh scored six points and had a team high eight rebounds. Justin Evans and Ethan Turner came off the bench and produced. Evans finished with eight points while Turner had seven points.

Bryce Brown led Lindsey with 12 points.
