Cats Host Tigers in MSC Action
MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Bethel University Wildcats are back in action Thursday hosting Campbellsville at 7:30 p.m. CT.
The Wildcats played well enough to beat the Tigers in Campbellsville back in January but a late Tiger surge allowed Campbellsville to pull out an 87-80 victory.
The Tigers outscored the Cats 19-14 in the last five minutes to secure the victory. Bethel had led 34-33 at the half.
The Tigers shot 47 percent from the field while the Wildcats shot 43 percent.
Campbellsville hit 24 of their 28 free throw attempts while Bethel was 15-of -27 from the line.
The Tigers connected on nine three-pointers while the Wildcats were just three of sixteen from deep.
Querrion Gadson led Bethel with 19 points and a game high nine rebounds. Conner Guthrie had 18 points while Jose Nazario followed with 12 points.
Four Tigers finished in double figures with former Wildcat Chandler Clements leading Campbellsville with a game high 22 points.

It will be the 12th meeting between the two programs with Campbellsville holding an 7-4 margin in the series.
The Wildcats are 12-12 overall and 1-7 in the Mid-South Conference. The Cats are 6-6 at home on the season and 125-53 all-time in the building.
Campbellsville is 15-9 and 3-6. The Tigers are 0-4 on the road this year.
