Bio

Kyle Wallace joined the Wildcats coaching staff as Cornerbacks Coach/ Special Team assistant in the spring of 2023. Wallace came to Bethel University from  Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where he coached the defensive back unit during the 2022-23 school year. Guided a defensive back unit with one First team All-Mascac conference selection. Massachusetts Maritime Academy from Suny Cortland, where he coached the cornerbacks during the 2021-22 school year. In 2021, Wallace coached four All-Empire eight selections and won all -region player, and the Red Dragons ranked fourth nationally in Division III in scoring defense (10.5 points/game), fifth in total defense (213.8 yards/game), and third in defensive touchdowns (5) on the way to winning the Empire 8 title and finishing with an 11-1 record.

 

Wallace is a former Bethel Wildcat. He was apart of the 2018 Mid-South Conference champions team and also previously attended Austin Peay State University, where he was a member of the football team.

 

He graduted with his master's degree in sport management at Cortland in 2022 and in 2019 he earned a bachelor's degree in fitness and wellness promotion from Bethel University (Tenn.),

 

A Chicago native, Wallace has served as a defensive back coach at Kenwood Academy in Chicago in 2019 and in the West Bearden Basketball League in Knoxville, Tenn., in late 2019 and early 2020.
