Bio

Prather is the son of Kimberly Sanders, DeKarie Sanders and Antiwun Prather. He is from Savannah, Tennessee.

Prather went to school at Hardin County where he was active with Hardin County's baseball, basketball, track and football athletic programs.

Prather developed his love of football and passion playing for the Hardin County Tigers offensive and defensive lines which involved playing multiple positions from wide receiver, cornerback, safety, kick return, special teams, and quarterback. 

He graduated HCHS in 2017 along with being recognized as a recipient of the Edwin Ledbetter Memorial Scholarship. Following this achievement, later that year in 2017 he accepted an offer from BU University in which he began his collegiate football career on the offensize line as wide receiver. As an active BU Wildcat player, he participated in playing multiple offensive positions such as wide receiver, running back, kick return and special teams. He was honored with 2018 NAIA Mid South Conference Football Bluegrass Division Offensive Freshman of Year. He was also awarded BU Athlete of Year during his time on the active roster along with receiving two conference championship rings for the years of 2018 and 2022. After his five years at BU, he became a BU Alumni in 2022 obtaining his Bachlors degree in Fitness and Wellness.  He is currently utilizing his degree as an Fitness Specialist at Superb Training Facility here in McKenzie. Prather has an avid dedication to personal fitness with a compassion to assist others in their personal fitness journeys. Prather continues to work towards his goal of obtaining his masters degree in Sports Administration and is very excited to not leave the BU Wildcat football program as he now will experience a new outlook as an Offensive Assistant WR Coach. Prather is looking forward to the upcoming 2023 season with high expectations to help earn another Conference Championship and making it to the National Championships.
