Devious Christmon is Latest Wildcats to play Professionally

Devious Christmon Signs with Edmonton Elks

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel University Sports Information Office has learned former Wildcat Devious Christmon has signed with the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League.

Christmon was a Mid-South Conference First Team All-Conference selection last year. He had 44 total tackles and two interceptions.

The former Centennial High School standout from Franklin, Tennessee had 14 career interceptions as a Wildcat. The 6'2 187 cornerback is second all-time in career interceptions, only behind former Bethel great and Hall-of Famer Hunter Pingston who had 16.

Christmon is the latest of several former Cats to earn the opportunity to play professionally.
