MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES FOOTBALL ACADEMIC & CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER AWARDS

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -  A total of 178 Mid-South Conference football student-athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

Fifteen Bethel Wildcats were named to the team. Joaquin Collazo III was named   Bethel's Champions of Character Award winner.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.

Georgetown (Ky.) led all MSC institutions with 30 student-athletes earning academic honors. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)  had the second-most honorees in the conference with 29. Cumberland (Tenn.) had 24 while Cumberlands (Ky.) and Pikeville (Ky.) each had 21.
