Bethel’s Joaquin Collazo III Named Mid-South Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Bethel's (Tenn.) Joaquin Collazo III is the Mid-South Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Joaquin Collazo III – Bethel (Tenn.) – Jr. – Quarterback – Melbourne, Fla.

  • Collazo threw for 463 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in Bethel's 43-13 win over Cumberlands (Ky.).
  • He completed 30 of his 55 passes with a long of 56.
  • Collazo's touchdowns totaled six, 20 and 52 yards.
  • He also rushed nine times for 59 yards with a long of 18.
  • Collazo earns weekly honors for the second time this season and in his career.
