Bethel’s Joaquin Collazo Named Mid-South Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Bethel's (Tenn.) Joaquin Collazo III was named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Joaquin Collazo III – Bethel (Tenn.) – Jr. – Quarterback – Melbourne, Fla.

  • Collazo threw for 373 yards with four touchdowns and one interception in Bethel's 45-16 victory over (RV) Pikeville (Ky.).
  • He completed 76.5 percent of his passes going 26-of-34 in the win.
  • Collazo's touchdowns totaled 21, 38, 41 and 64 yards.
  • He earns weekly honors for the first time this season and in his career.
