Mid-South Conference Announces Football Academic Awards
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - A total of 362 Mid-South Conference football student-athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday. Fourteen Bethel Wildcats excelled on the field and in the classroom.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.
The Bluegrass division accounts for 157 of the honorees while the Sun division had 109 and the Appalachian division had 96 honorees.
Georgetown (Ky.) led all MSC institutions with 35 student-athletes earning academic honors. St. Thomas (Fla.) had the second-most honorees in the conference with 33. Reinhardt (Ga.) had 27 honorees while Cumberlands had 26.
