Head Developmental Coach

Lee Whitaker enters his seventh season as an assistant coach for Bethel University baseball in 2022-23. Lee graduated from Gibson County High School where he signed to play for Coach Rusty and Nick Thompson for the 2011-2012 season. Lee went on to play four seasons for the Wildcats during his collegiate career. During Lee’s time at Bethel, he played a leadership role behind the plate and later would receive the Wildcat Award during his senior season. He also was a member of the 2013 Conference Championship team. Lee graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Science in History. Lee and his wife Stacey reside in McKenzie. He is the son of Chuck and Gaela of Dyer, Tenn., and the older brother of Leigh Whitaker.
