Baseball Falls to Georgetown in MSC Tournament
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -The Bethel Wildcats came up short in their winner's bracket morning game Saturday against the Georgetown Tigers in the Mid-South Conference Tournament in Bowling Green.
The Cats took a 1-0 lead on a Jared Hall homer in the first.
The Tigers tied the game with a single run in the fourth. GC scored two runs in the fifth and sixth to lead 5-2.
Bethel's Noah Hawkins singled in a run in the ninth, but the Tigers went on to win 5-2.
Georgetown outhit the Wildcats 10-5.
Tyler Proctor suffered the Bethel loss while Anthony Barrera was the winner for the Tigers.
GC will meet Cumberlands at 5 p.m. in the winner's bracket.
The Cats will meet Campbellsville in an elimination game at 1:30.
