Baseball falls to Tennessee Southern
MCKENZIE, Tenn. –The Bethel Wildcats and the UTS FireHawks wrapped up their weekend MSC series Sunday at Wildcat Park.
UTS swept the series, winning 19-0.
The Hawks put three runs on the board in the top of the second. They scored four runs in the third, three in the fourth, four in the fifth and three in the sixth. The Hawks added two more runs in the seventh.
UTS outhit Bethel 20-5. Luke Boswell took the loss for the Wildcats.
Bethel lost their sixth straight and fell 9-24 overall and 5-13.
UTS won their sixth straight and moved to 25-10 and 11-5.
The Wildcats travel to No. 10 Missouri Baptist Tuesday for a single game beginning at 1 p.m. MBU beat Bethel earlier in the year.
