Bethel Finishes Sixth in Mid-South Conference 3d Archery Championship

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Cumberlands (Ky.) captured its seventh-straight Mid-South Conference 3D Archey Championship Saturday. The Bethel Wildcats finished sixth in the event.

The Patriots tallied a MSC-record 225 points with 23 podium finishes to capture the championship. Cumberlands recorded 13 golds, five silvers and five bronze medals to pull away from the field. The Patriots earned four in the compound divisions.  The Patriots earned three golds in fixed pins, two in barebow and four in recurve.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) finished runner-up tallying 132 points. The Blue Raiders had four golds, five silvers and seven bronze medals. Lindsey Wilson earned gold in mixed compound, men's fixed pins, men's team fixed pins and men's recurve team.

Pikeville (Ky.) finished third with 120 points. The Bears recorded two gold medals, seven silver and four bronze. The Bears earned gold in women's barebow and women's team barebow.

Union (Ky.) recorded 63 points to finish fourth. The Bulldogs captured a gold medal in men's barebow. Kentucky Christian finished in fifth place with 20 points with four fourth-place finishes.

Bethel tallied 10 points while Campbellsville and Midway each scored five points to round out the team standings.
